I always wonder what makes them so nervous. We have many squirrels in our yard and my back door neighbor feeds the birds but I've seen the squirrels helping themselves to the bird seed, too! I finally had to put a squirrel guard up on my feeder because they were eating me out of house and home. They forage around under the bird feeder for the seeds the birds dropped.
