BELL RINGERS
The bell ringers were busy today....not those outside the department stores....but the children at church. Before going to their church services, the children did a beautiful job of "O Holy Night" using the bells. The boys and girls knew exactly when to ring their bell to make the most beautiful sounds. In the picture above the 2nd and 3rd boys from the right side (in the striped sweaters) are my two oldest grandsons). I was amazed at how "focused" they were during this song. They watched the children's pastor and rung their bell at the proper time. There were many proud mama's and daddy's (and rightly so).
I love to listen to those bells, they are so pretty. The music room at school all week had mini concerts and we could hear them down the hall and i loved it!
ReplyDeleteHope your week is a great one :)
I bet that was just beautiful!! I wanted to drop by and wish you and Harold (and the entire clan), a very Merry Christmas!! I figured the next couple days will get pretty hectic for us all so I'm taking this opportunity to say it now :) You all are so very special to me and I wish you the Happiest of Holidays!!

I love the bell music. I know your grandsons did a fabulous job. I just love seeing children perform....they are so lovely.
ReplyDeleteWe do this at Children's Time at my church sometimes. At Christmas especially...we have "Joy to the World" and a few others I think. I love hearing it...its not perfect because they just do it on the fly without practice, but its still great:) I hope you and your family are having a wonderful Christmas season! <3Lauren
