The pictures loaded so randomly....but these are some flowers I planted yesterday. I tried to think "outside the pot" as Cathy tells us to do when I planted in a basket yesterday. I even used her idea with a little polka dot ribbon!
My husband worked so hard on this area for several days and finished it yesterday. We have had these pavers in our backyard for years. He asked if I'd like for him to make another sitting area out front because that is where every one gathers when we have friends over. I think he did a great job. I have had the table for years and got a little wild with my spray paint but love that "Carribbean Blue" color. I have another chair that isn't showing and they are both lime green. Kinda wild in my old age!!
Wow...what a beautiful show of flowers and containers. Here in PA we aren't that far along in our planting. Love the bows and containers that you used and absolutely adore that "blue" table!!! I'd love to sit there and enjoy the flowers:) Great job to you both!

ReplyDeleteWow, that is exactly how I spent my Saturday! Bottoms up in the garden, just like Mrs. Heard! It is beautiful! Good job....
ReplyDeleteHi Sue, isn't Spring gardening just the best? Seeing the pots and beds filled with color after wintertime always makes me feel so good.
ReplyDeleteI have a dear friend who gave me a "recipe" for container planters that I try to follow because they turn out so well--Use a "thriller"--something tall and eye catching; a "filler" more sort of a background plant that will fill in, and then a "spiller" something that falls over the edge of the pot. So simple yet so effective!
I worked in the yard Saturday too but didn't get nearly as much done as you! blessings, marlene
