This was one section of the gym prior to the egg hunt. Our children's pastor told the real story of Easter and then we dismissed for space bounces, face painting, hotdogs, drinks, and eggs.
After church today our family went to my husband's brother's home for food and hiding eggs again. Above you see Keith & Griffin looking through their eggs for money. Our neighbor fills eggs with money and the kids throw the eggs stuffed with candy aside as they look for coins and dollar bills.

I enjoyed these photos a lot Sue--seeing the kids with their families and hunting for eggs. I seeing them making memories and having family traditions related to Resurrection Sunday. It's funny how quickly those money-stuffed eggs become the favorites as the kids grow up a bit!
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a good family weekend.
Looks like you had the perfect Easter, Sue. I know you put a lot of work into it and I'm glad things went well. If the church egg hunt had been just a couple of hours later the weather would have been perfect but I'm sure no one cared --- there was so much fun to be had. Your family is beautiful and I can see why you are so proud of them. Of course, I know why they are so proud of you, too! Have a great week.

Awww, how much fun was that Easter egg hunt! I used to love those when my kids were little. I hope to have grandkids someday so I can be the Easter bunny!
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a wonderful Easter - and I also wanted to thank you for your concern for my mother in law. Thank you for stopping by and for your prayers. It means so much to me!
