It's only 12 days until these precious girls will be here for a whole week!!! One of the reasons I love Thanksgiving is the fact that my family is home. My son and his family come for the week of Thanksgiving. They stay at their home for Christmas but always come to Alabama for Thanksgiving. We have so much fun eating, shopping, enjoying all the other family members who come for Thanksgiving Day, and playing games. Besides that.....when you mix these three with.................................

ReplyDeleteOh what fun! I love the holidays too. I am very fortunate that most of my family is close enough to be togehter for the holidays. The only sadness comes when our grandaughter has to go to her daddy's. That is always hard. But I know how blessed we are.

ReplyDeleteOh Sue...I know that excitement..little Sofie & Bailey lives just down the street but I can't help but get a lump in my throat each time they come thru the door yelling 'Maw Maw, where are you?" lol Your grandbabies are adorable and you can bet they are just as excited as you are to get to be with you!

Your gingerbread men!!! I am going to zip over to get recipe too!!! Grands and I made some salt dough... and ornaments for Christmas tree... Taryn came out and painted some of hers yesterday... Brock will get later this week. (We dipped them in wax... so cute!!) I am having a great time gearing up for Christmas this year!!!

We will probably be in Alabama for Thanksgiving. My dad has a huge family there and it's my favorite place to spend Thanksgiving and then all the ladies brave the day after Thanksgiving shopping. It's always so much fun!
