I finished the all the smocking Friday night and put the dress together yesterday (all but sewing the buttons on the back). I did that this afternoon. I can just see my little Emma in this dress for Valentine's. Both of the older granddaughters want to wear dresses all the time....even for play. I have a feeling Emma is going to follow in her big sisters' footsteps! Now, I'm off to cut out the next one and get it pleated and smocked....which color will it be????
I think most of you already are praying for Harper but in case you haven't heard, please go to her mom's blog and read about her. I have followed Kelly throughout her pregnancy and watched anxiously for the news of Harper's arrival. She was born with pneumonia and other complications and is in very critical condition. I believe in the power of prayer and know from Kelly's blog just how many are praying for her right now. I know this family needs us to lift them up.
Beautiful Sue, and what a great keepsake!

ReplyDeleteI prayed for Harper and her family just this morning. I think it's great that all of us bloggers can come together and pray for others. The Lord is so good-I am so thankful for all the prayers that were said for my grand daughter Noelle, she is doing amazing!
So I stand with you and all the others in praying for complete healing for Harper in Jesus name. Amen.
Robin~♥
The dress is so cute! You are very talented. Smocking is something I wish I knew how to do because I love smocked dresses but they are so expensive to buy or have made. I can't wait to see the other one!
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely! How feminine and pretty.
ReplyDeleteI will stop by and visit with Kelly right now and will pray for Harper.
Blessings,
Lea
