I'm ready for the kids tonight!! As I bagged the candy last night I kept thinking of "The Night Before Christmas" when 'the stockings were hung' and it went through my mind 'the candy was bagged'! I'm not a writer or I would have come up with a cute little Halloween poem. Anyway....we're ready to see some cute costumes and open our door to "Who is this?" They will usually pull their mask off and say, "It's ____!!" I never know how many to prepare for because we live on a road where there are no other houses (other than family members). However....we are ready for those who may come and I prepared well.....I bought candy that WE really like in case there is extra!!! Hope you have a safe and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

Morning Sue! I have all my little treat bags ready also and I am gonna make a big ol pot of chili and cornbread for my bunch to eat before they turn the kids loose! lol Hey I only buy the chocolates that I will eat...never know when I might need some nurishment! lol Happy Halloween friend!

Cute, cute....we always buy candy WE like too cause we always hope there are left-overs. We live in an area that is fairly popular with trick-or-treaters so some years we have to end up turning off the lights and closing up shop!! I have a feeling with it being on Friday this year that might be the case!

Love your candy bags! I just have a big bowl and give out handfuls. We're never sure how many to expect either, so I also make sure we like the candy in case of leftovers. My husband actually broke into one of the bags last night--just couldn't wait. Hope you have a fun evening.

Oh, those ar so cute!!! We don't get any trick or treaters, we live on a main road so we miss all that fun. Our niece and newphew and a few church kids come by, but that is it. Nancy
