Several weeks ago I told you that I had a friend, who is also a wonderful photographer, come to my house to make pictures of all of my grandchildren. Kamin works as a photographer for two of my most favorite magazines, Paula Deen & Southern Lady, and is doing personal photography on the side. I try to have pictures made once a year of the grandchildren together and instead of taking them somewhere (and ending up with a headache from waiting, etc.), Kamin came to my home one Saturday morning. She made hundreds of pictures which included individual shots of each of them and the most unique pictures I've ever seen. She made them in the yard, by my wood pile, muscadine vine, cotton patch, and even walking down the railroad tracks (close to the house). This was the very last picture that she made as we were leaving the railroad tracks. When my son saw this picture he said that it reminded him of "The Waltons". He said, "There's John Boy, etc." I love it!
This is another picture of all six of my babies. It's really hard to get one with all of them still, or happy, or focused (at the same time).......but, I think this one is great. I visit so many blogs each day and I cannot remember who said this to give them credit, but...."Children are rainbows and Grandchildren are the pots of GOLD!"
This is so true!

The pictures are great. All of your grandchildren are beautiful. I want to bring Natalie and Rylan over to your house to make some pictures if you don't mind.
Sherree,
I left you a comment--but I sure don't mind if you come to make pictures. I would have NEVER thought about some of the places that Kamin made pictures. One of my favorites is of Zack in front of my tomato garden (with weeds growing and everything).
Those are GREAT pictures of the grandchildren!!! How neat to have such a famous photographer take their pictures. Just BEAUTIFUL!!!
I love those pics, especially the black & white. What beautiful children! You are lucky to have her take those photos. Pam
They are beautiful. I love those pics!
Those are beautiful! Kamin is a wonderful photographer!
Oh how lucky you are to have all six of your g. kids so near. All nine of mine live so far away, it would be hard to get them all together for a photo session. It has always been a dream of mine.

Hi Sue!
I found your blog by way of Darlene's. Thought I'd stop by and check it out. I love the pictures you posted of your grandkids. So adorable!! You must be one proud grandma!! :)
I see that you live in Alabama? We lived in Madison, right outside of Huntsville, for 7 years and loved it. It was a sad day when we had to move away.
Anyhow, stop by sometime and say hello. Hope you have a great day!!
