I LOVE

While reading my friend Tammy's blog this morning, I knew that I wanted to copy her and write about things that I love. Her post today made me think and I probably could write many, many things but I'll try to keep it as short as possible. Here goes:

I LOVE......

...... knowing the my husband and I love each other more and more every day

...... reading other blogs and feeling like people I have never met in person are my close friends.

.......living out in the country

.......sitting in front of the fire with my husband on the cold nights

.......to hear my children' voices and know all is well

.......the beach

.......for my house to be clean

.......chips and salsa

.......for my grandchildren to sit in my lap and let me love on them

.......to watch The Biggest Loser

.......that it won't be long before I can work outside planting flowers

.......fresh food from my garden...peas, corn, fried okra, squash, tomatoes..

.......my church family

.......knowing God forgives

.......to wear jeans

.......that my husband & I are able to spend time together since we both retired from our "first" jobs

.......that my children married wonderful spouses who love them and God

.......making dresses for my granddaughters

.......reading that Harper is so much better

.......having a menu for the week so I know just what I'm having for dinner

.......being able to do small things for others

.......having comments on my blog!

Awe, how sweet Sue! Mine was just a spur of moment thought inspired by my dogs that wouldn't move over and give me any room in the bed (which I love knowing they love me so much), lol.

Your's is very special - it makes me want to do another one :) And BTW, I also ADORE so many of the things you listed - but man what I would give right now for some yummy fresh garden veggies!!

Love you much!!

Sue this is a lovely list-thanks for sharing it. A list like this is another way of counting our blessings, don't you think?

Great list, Sue! I just talked to my brother and he and my sister-in-law drove to Tulsa today to check up on baby Harper. He said she's doing so well. The doc. thinks he might try to bring her out of the comatose state she's been in sometime next week. She will probably remain in the hospital for another 2 to 3 weeks, pending all goes well. We sure have an amazing God! Just goes to prove the awesome power of prayer!

This is such a "lovely" post!
I think that right now I will write down all of the things that I love...just so that I remember the things and people who mean the most to me!
With the busy and hectic lives we live...sometimes we forget to stop and notice the important things around us!

That is a great post Sue...I loved just reading it and yes I would love some fresh garden vegetables! lol I cannot wait for Spring time to come around again! The Burly Boys came by this morning after duck hunting ( must have thought I was a MacDonald's cause they started placing their orders for food!) lol But the first words out of their mouths was 'Mom...where is the table & what is with all this fabric up in the cabinets!!' Mom is that lace on your windows????' lol They don't adjust to changes at mama's in the kitchen...they know I have always changed the house around for years but drastic changes in the kitchen throw them off! lol Of course it didn't seem to effect their appetites! lol Have a great weekend sweetie!

Sue, you have a lot to be proud of and God has really found favor it you and your family. I might just have to do this same thing when it gets closer to Valentines Day (but then again it is good to express our love everyday, isn't it) Great post.
