See this ceramic Christmas tree? I LOVE IT! No, my Christmas decorations are not still up. This tree is like one that my mother had years ago. I loved that tree and it was accidently broken before it became mine. This afternoon my daughter and son-in-law came over with a big box that had been shipped to them today. Amy had won it on Ebay. They had me close my eyes and when I opened them I saw the tree. I almost cried right then, but thought the grandsons would think I was crazy....crying over a ceramic Christmas tree. It was still lit up when my husband came in. I can't wait until it's time to decorate again. Surprises are so nice....especially those that bring back memories.

Awwwww what a wonderful surprise! I remember those ceramic trees. My grandmother or mom used to have one. I have no idea what became of it. I know next year that will have a place of honor in your decorated home.♥
That is just the sweetest thing I've heard in a long time. So very thought of them to get it for you. I remember when those were just all the rage! I know you will enjoy it.

Sue I have a very similar tree made for me by a dear friend about 25 years ago. It's one of the first Christmas things I take out each December. When my children were small the loved putting the tiny ornaments on it. So glad you have this one to enjoy now.
Awww...surprises are always wonderful!
My grandmother had one of those and I used to think it was the prettiest thing when I was little.
Thanks for posting and bringing back such great memories! (Maybe I should look around on Ebay!)
I made one for my mom back in the 70's she loved it:)
Thanks for the memories:)
