WHAT I'M WORKING ON

This is the stitchery I've been working on. In fact....I've made three so far. I'm making some that I will be giving to some friends but can't tell you about that right now because some of the recipients might be reading the blog! I plan to frame these little babies. I think they will be perfect to sit on a shelf. Are you planning any thing special for Valentine's for your "special love"? I think we are going to celebrate our special night on Friday so we can keep the grandsons Saturday night for our daughter and her hubby to go out to eat. I'm not sure what I'm getting for my husband but I'm thinking it might be a new Bible. His has pages that are falling out. I know he loves his Bible and has scriptures marked and notes scribbled, but I think it's time that he can begin "remarking". Let me know if you have something special planned for the holiday for LOVE!

That's the true sign of a man with character. I love it.

We are having dinner and a movie at our church, we are showing FireProof!

How pretty, Sue! I'd love to see the finished product!

As far as Valentine's Day goes...I think I'll make a nice dinner and dessert. Beyond that...who knows! Just having some time together is all I really care about. I do plan to write love letters to my hubby and my girls.

I really like your stitchery, Sue. You just are working all the time! We have some special plans for Valentine's evening if things go as I have them planned. Our church choir is sponsoring an Evening Under the Stars with the Joe Gitino Band. Joy and her new fella, David, Cassie and I will be going together. When Charlie heard we were all going, he decided he "might" go as well. I may have him on this one. I'll let you know if all works out! Whatever we do, I hope you have a lovely Valentine's weekend! Sharon

I sure hope you consider me one of your friends. That is so cute and would look good in my house. We are planning on having a fun time Saturday with the loves of our lives, those wonderful GRANDbabies and each other of course :)

Sue, Sue, Sue... I just saw the comment you left over on Cheryl's new blog (country quilts).

If you made these little LOVE stitcheries, you can do any one of hers! Go for the little book I suggested... it's FULL of great little projects. And Cheryl is a Christian... it shows in her work!

Let me know if you take the plunge!

Hugs to you, Kimberly

Love your handwork. On Valentine's Day this year we will be attending a surprise 50th wedding anniversary dinner for two of the kindest people - kind of like my second parents. So, I'm looking forward to it and I'm sure we will have a good time. That's really kind of you to keep the grandbabies while your children can have some time - I'm sure they will be grateful. Happy Valentine's Day to you! Cathy

Oh, Sue! Your stitchery is darling! Did you make up that design? It's just precious! It will look so cute framed and your recipients will love it, I know!

We're also celebrating Valentines on Friday. Jason took the day off for us to have a date...wasn't that nice? I don't even know all the plans, but I'm looking forward to it. We'll spend Saturday here at home with the kids and he'll work in the shop some of the day.

Enjoy your time with hubby!
Tammy
