CHRISTMAS IN JUNE

I feel like it's Christmas at my house today. I have looked every time I was out for glasses with cherries. Earlier in the week I posted about it and I received a comment from a sweet friend, Kristen. I taught Kristen in the 2nd grade (many years ago). She told me that she had some glasses that had cherries on them and she'd send me a picture to see if they might be what I wanted. I loved them and told her to let me know how much she was asking for them. Her reply was, "You can have them because they are taking up space in my cabinets". There are 11 tall glasses and 2 juice glasses. Of course my husband wanted to know which glasses I was going to get rid of in my cabinets.....men just don't understand how much we love our dishes!
I LOVE these, Kristen. I will think about you every time I use them. Thanks so much.

Oh Sue, I'm so happy you found your cherry glasses. I was wondering if someone might find some for you, and for her to GIVE them to you, is so nice! It really is like Christmas in June, isn't it? Yay!

Have a great week! (You've got a great start already)!

I think it was Cherry Hill Cottage that had the recipe, for the chocolate dessert.I was going to try it but have not done so yet.I did try the rhubarb cake, from her blog, and it is wonderful.I made 2 in one week.I will try the chocolate one soon.
Your glasses are wonderful.I found a set with strawberries,at a garage sale.
And yes I had to make room. And no I did not get rid of any others.
They rhubarb cake recipe is now on my blog.
