STITCHERY ORNAMENTS

I made a couple of stitchery ornaments for the tree on my sunporch. This is the only tree that is real and I'm using old ornaments on it. However, it is very difficult for me to get a clear picture with the lights on the tree. I think you can see ok. Later in the week I'll post a picture of each of my trees....six in all!!
To the left of this stitchery is an ornament that is as old as me....that means it's an ANTIQUE!! I have several that I've kept from my mother's old ornaments. Although it isn't valuable, I tied this one tightly so it wouldn't fall off and break. Just being sentimental I guess.

The sentimental ones are the best, but I love the stitcheries too! Very cute :)

Don't know if I could tie that ornament from your mother onto the tree tightly enough. I would dearly love to have one of the ornaments my mother used when I was a child. They were blown glass and prettier than anything you can get today. Even if it was ugly, I'd still love to have it. sentimental ornaments are the most valuable of all. Glad you're home safely! So pretty! I laughed at the one "Santa, I can explain ..." Sounds exactly like something my little 11 year old would say. He trys so hard to be good! LOL

I would have tied that ornament on too! Its not just the ornament but those precious memories that it holds.

Christmas blessings,
Lea

WAIT...you have 6 trees??? Wow...amazing! I'd love to see them all!

Love the ornaments you stitched...very cute! I treasure ornaments that I've "inherited" from my parents. They may not look the best, but they sure mean the world to me.

How was your trip to the Opryland Hotel? Hope you had lots of fun!

Six trees! WoW! I wonder how long it takes you to decorate all of those and then take them all down!?
I can't wait to see all of them. Your stitchery ornaments turned out very nice!

Love your stitcheries Sue, and your vintage ornament is beautiful. I have vintage, but they're not handed down from family. That would make them more special.
Can't wait to see your 6 trees!

Very cute ornies! We love lvie trees, but opt to use an artifucial one since I have a skinny tree. It takes up less space and is no maintainance!

Have a great week!
