THE STOCKINGS ARE HUNG

I told you that I wanted to make some stockings for my husband and me to complete the mantle decorations, so today I pulled out my fabric and did some stitching while watching the ballgame. After it was over I put the stockings together and they brought a chuckle from my husband. I told him they weren't supposed to look perfect .....just old. I hung them so I think we are ready for Santa to fill them with surprises!!
I had stockings for my daughter, son, and their spouses and wanted a place that I could still hang them so they are now on my stairs. I know they aren't very prim looking but we've had these for years.

Today was a good day for getting things done. I hung the wreaths and put the garland outside....it was SO COLD! Maybe tomorrow after church I'll be able to finish with all the decorations. I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!

PAAA.RECIOUS, Sue. The second photos reminds me of stockings at my mom's... we've had the same handmade crocheted ones for years and I would be *devastated* if she stopped hanging them. :)

The stockings look great.

I have been so long out of crafting and decorating groups that it took me a bit to figure out what Prim was :-) It is the way I used to decorate.

Those are so neat and prim. The other stockings are just as cute, my kids stockings my mom had crocheted for each one and it wouldn't be Christmas without them:)
