JUST WONDERING
I really didn't know what to write about tonight. I'm so thankful for those of you who are visiting my blog and especially those who take the time to leave a comment. This is all new to me and I feel that I gain so much from visiting your sites and hope you'll visit mine. My husband asked me last night if I felt like I HAD to post something every day. I told him that I didn't feel like I HAD to, but I know how much I enjoy seeing new posts from all of you. I know I am rambling and what I'd like is for you to leave me a comment and tell me what you really like to see when you visit blogs. I don't feel that I am as creative as many of you....oh, I can copy what you so graciously share. I just know that I feel like I have new friends from some of you who "come to see me every day" and I hope you'll continue to want to visit me.

Hi Sue,
What first 'hooks' me on someone's blog is when they share projects or things that have worked for them....whatever that may be! It could be a recipe, a makeover, a special product...whatever.
Then after I get to know someone, I love hearing about their families.
That's just me though. You might try writing a few posts in draft for the days when you can't think of anything to say. That's what I do and so far I haven't run out of something to say. Sometimes I just copy and paste an email I liked, or upload a picture I want to write about. Then when I have time I finish the post and schedule it to appear early in the mornings.
I know how you feel about the post every day syndrome. I am afraid not too...scared I guess that no one will read my blog. LOL
Have a great day,
Diane
My Mom was having the same issues...She tries to post at least a couple times a week. I loved your quilt post and I know a lot of people share what they love..Food, recipes, art, their homes, gardens, poems, books they read, funny stories etc etc.
I would love to see the cotton patch that you live by. People love photos too. I have you on my google reader so it shows me when you post something new. Then I mark it as read until you post something else...That way you are not running to others blogs that haven't been updated.
I post all the time because I tend to be a little hyper in the brain...Not in person(I'm very laid back) just in the brain! :)

You know Sue, I have felt like I should post everyday. Now I feel like I need a theme for every day. (Whew!) I posted a video for Sunday. I did not get a comment on it though. I love the song. Had a different video planned to post (was going to post it last week, but could not figure out how to do it. New to blogging too!) But, since then, I found a different video with the same song. I should have posted a tissue alert.
Now I am getting more orgainized with my photos and projects. Even my posts are days ahead, already typed and scheduled.
The funny thing is. I started a business blog, then started 2 more blogs a the 2 other blogs took over. Volunteered to do a blog/website for my smocking arts guild, but needed everyone to pitch in.... sigh...
Hi Sue! I kept thinking I HAD to post every day at first. Then I remembered that I started my blog because I wanted to journal what we did with our first house. So blogging every day wasn't going to happen. When I remind myself of WHY I started then the pressure is off. :o)
What hooks me to a blog? GORGEOUS photos. Oh some of you ladies can take some beautiful photos!! I love to peek into people's homes... show me what you did to solve a simple home decor, redesign, facelift problem. My favorite blogs say "look what I did and you can too!" I'm not particularly creative either. But so many of you make me think I can be.
I am fairly new to blogging too. I have posted almost everyday, but I don't feel the need to post everyday. Blogging is an outlet for me right now. I have a lot of stuff going on in my life, and this helps me stay sane.
The first thing that grabs my attention is a blog's title. Then the header photo. I will read the blogger's profile and can usually tell by then if I am going to enjoy their blog or not.
I love seeing handmade crafts, re-dos, decorating ideas, home tours, yard sale finds, antiques, family photos, etc. I just love learning about my new-found friends.
I am like Diane, I love seeing projects, recipes, where people have been, their hometowns what they are reading, etc and once I know someone, I enjoy learning more about the family too. I enjoy pictures because I am so visual. I don't feel the pressure to post every day - blogging is supposed to be fun - not work in my humble opinion.
Sue,
Thanks for visiting my blog and for your sweet comments! My children are very special to me as I know your grandchildren are to you! I love to hear other's stories too! Thanks for that!
You can pretty much ditto for me what Carolyn of Cranberry Crossings said. Those are the things I look at...I love to see real life....what's going on whether it be home improvement, projects, decor, crafts, family life, etc...
I'm saving you to my blogroll so I can visit often!
Stop by anytime! I'd love to "see" you there! :) Have a great week, Sue!

Cotton Fields, WOW..brought back somme great memories of a trip my mom, sister and myself took across the U.S. My mom picked cotton as alittle girl (she's 91) so my sister and I wanted to learn about it. We stopped at a field in Ark. When you don't live near cotton you have no idea how its grown. It was really great to see and bring back a few pieces of it. Thanks for your nice comment.

Hey Aunt Sue,
As usual you never cease to amaze me. I love the stamped tile. Now maybe that I have a break in Dalton's baseball travels I will have time to try some. Your blog is great also. You are always inspiring me to try new things.
Love,
Kim
